Guy leads the landscape planning team at Ironside Farrar. He is a Chartered Landscape Architect with a PhD in plant sciences. His 32 years of professional experience includes: landscape character assessment; landscape and visual impact assessment; landscape capacity studies; environmental assessment of development, mineral extraction and infrastructure projects and environmental mitigation / restoration.

Guy has advised local authorities and Scottish Government on landscape capacity and planning applications and has been an expert witness at many planning inquiries and hearings involving windfarms, quarries, housing, roads and local development.
