Project Description
Ironside Farrar were lead consultant responsible for the preparation of all required supporting documentation for the HLF Stage 1 & 2 Applications and undertook the subsequent letting of contracts and supervision of the physical works.
The project includes improvements to and refurbishment of existing elements, both physical structures/ areas and management/ strategies.
Consultation, concept, outline, detailed design, tender package production/ issue and supervision of revitalisation works for Dock Park, Dumfries.
A significant destination Play facility is now open and in full use replacing an outdated provision which restricted access for disabled users. Equipment provides a wide range of experience for all ages and allows space for natural play on mounded areas and interactive safe and overlooked play for toddlers adjacent to the Grierson cafe.
