David has both design flair and strong technical design competencies. His understanding of architecture & his eye for quality in design has brought great benefits to our urban design and public realm commissions.

David has studied at the Politecnico di Milano and enjoyed work experience in Milan where he broadened his studies and enrolled in a syllabus with landscape architecture, masterplanning and urbanism as core strands. The experience was influential in both academic development and philosophy of design: fostering an interest in critical, design led landscape architecture.

Joining Ironside Farrar in 2014 he has become a key design team member supporting delivery of high quality public realm, specifically in the design & delivery; and contribution to engagement and consultation for town centre, park and public realm projects throughout Scotland.
